Vicki S. Gruber is the owner and founder of The Law Offices of Vicki S. Gruber, P.C. She has over 25 years of in-house and law firm experience in the areas of corporate and securities law, serving businesses at all stages of development. Her practice areas include business formation, negotiating and drafting complex commercial agreements, licensing, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, public offerings, private placements, corporate governance, employment, compensation, stock incentive plans, internal company policies, and compliance with SEC and stock exchange rules. She has represented clients in many industries, including technology, entertainment, hospitality and professional practices.
Ms. Gruber received her law degree from Fordham University School of Law, where she was a member of the Fordham International Law Journal. She received her undergraduate degree in Social Science from Stony Brook University. Ms. Gruber is trained, certified and experienced in commercial mediation, and has served as a neutral on several mediation panels. She is admitted to practice law in New York and Washington, D.C.
Ms. Gruber has served on the Board of Directors of several community organizations and non-profits, and has given presentations and written on various business and securities law topics. She teaches writing as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Professional Communications at Farmingdale State College.
Prior to founding this firm, Ms. Gruber served as Corporate Counsel and Assistant Secretary to Ampex Corporation, a technology company, where she was responsible for corporate finance and licensing matters and compliance with securities laws and stock exchange rules, including all SEC filings and corporate governance matters. She also practiced corporate and securities law at Battle Fowler, LLP (now Paul Hastings) in New York, NY and Farrell Fritz in Uniondale, NY.
